KINESSO’s New APAC Leader Announced by IPG Mediabrands

Kristine Biti has been named by IPG Mediabrands as the CEO of KINESSO’s APAC region. The announcement follows Matt Ware’s appointment to CEO of IPG Mediabrands Japan.

Biti will be under the direction of Leigh Terry, CEO of IPG Mediabrands Asia-Pacific, and based out of the KINESSO RHQ in Singapore.

In her new role as APAC Head of KINESSO, IPG Mediabrands’ tech-driven performance agency, Biti will assume responsibility for managing more than a thousand digital specialists working in 11 markets on projects involving digital media, marketing automation, AI, advanced analytics, and commerce.

According to the agency, Biti specializes in promoting regional expansion, strategic collaborations, and organizational transformation within the sector. It has fifteen years of experience in advertising, marketing, and technology in the Asia Pacific area.

Her most recent position at Media.Monks was head of operations, client, and growth for APAC.

Biti goes on, “Working with Terry, his seasoned leadership team, and the iconic KINESSO workforce around the world is an honor. “I am excited to lead the APAC business to new heights,” she continued.

Her employment will begin on Thursday, April 11.

The announcement was made soon after Matt Ware was named CEO of IPG Mediabrands Japan by IPG Mediabrands. The news follows the five-year tenure as Japan’s CEO of Koichi Sonoda.

In order to assume the new position, which is effective immediately, Ware moved from Singapore to Tokyo and will be reporting to Terry.

Ware’s new position will see him oversee the IPG Mediabrands Japan network, helping marketers maximize their media expenditures to yield tangible business results.

Ware, who was KINESSO’s former APAC CEO, brings with him more than 15 years of specialized experience in digital marketing, with 11 of those years spent in the Asia-Pacific area and more than five in Japan.
