Moving up from her position as Acting Head, Kaneetha Rajan has assumed the position of Head of People, Malaysia and Vietnam at QBE Insurance as of April 2024.
She explains that in her new position, she will be in charge of managing all facets of human resources management, including hiring, employee relations, performance management, training and development, pay and benefits, and the execution of HR policies.
Her primary priorities over the next year and a half will be improving talent acquisition tactics to draw in and keep top talent, cultivating an inclusive and diverse workplace, making sure local labor laws and regulations are followed, and spearheading employee engagement programs to improve workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
In addition to giving frequent briefings on HR-related issues and projects within the company to the General Director of QBE Vietnam and the CEO of QBE Malaysia, Kaneetha reports directly to the Head of People, Asia.
